All dogs need training.
Some dogs more than others. The thing about properly training your dog is they like the process. As part of a pack they expect to be shown rules to live by – it is part of their nature. They also try and work out where they fit in their pack and who is above them and who is below them.
Training your dog helps put you above them and they like that. It makes their lives easier and yours.
