Sadly, my dear Moppy (Daisy) needs a new kind home.
Moppy is a long haired tortie tabby Selkirk Rex. A beautiful new breed.
She is desexed and microchipped.
As from her photos you can see how she came by her nick name.
Moppy is a very shy and timid girl. She will take time to get used to her new home. She is also shy of visitors but will eventually wander out.
She accepts a small dog but is wary of large dogs.
Her coat is easy to care for, her 'rolling' comb comes with her. It’s more like a wool than hair. I tend to comb her while she's on my lap and I'm watching TV. I also clip her like that but only in Summer as I have no air conditioning.
Oddly, she prefers dry food to wet.
Moppy has been an entirely inside cat with access to an out door cat enclosure. If the door is left open she will wander out and sit on the porch.
For the past year and a half she’s been entirely indoors and no access to her outdoor enclosure only as problems arose!
I had no option but to close half my house off as my other 2 cats decided to start belting her. They were here first.
SO!!!... I’ve struggled along not wanting to part with any of them but it’s not being fair on any of the cats or myself I am now hoping to find a wonderful home for Moppy.
She’d be quite happy being a solo cat.
I am elderly so she's not been around children so I cannot say how she would react but she is a very friendly, chatty cat though cuddly only when SHE wants to be as most cats are. She’s not much into being picked up but loves to sit on your knee or be patted and rubbed.
She loves her 1.8cm scratching /sitting post and that will be included. It would be something she knows and loves.
Of course it is a must that she go to a very loving home.
All her credentials are in the photos
Price listed as it includes her cat stand.
