The bonus in rescuing a small dog rather than buying a puppy is that your rescue dog will most likely be toilet trained. This is a big thing – just ask any new puppy owner!!
Please ensure that the dog you rescue you can keep for life and it is not just a passing idea. These little animals have already been traumatised so for it to happen agin would be pretty harsh. However, if you can rescue a little dog you are an amazing person with a great big heart.
